The Descendants was pretty good, but not great. It had such an amazing, emotional premise, but I went through the whole film knowing how I should feel without actually feeling anything. It was full of moments that created really interesting emotional tension, but they were never really fully utilised, and the monologues were all slightly off putting. Hawaii made for some serious eye candy though....
