I feel so sure of who I am and what I like and what I want to do and the sort of work that I want to make, and while I’m very happy with and confident of that, and that certainty is great and reassuring, sometimes I worry that I’m closing myself off from other possibilities. I’m not restless in my own skin but perhaps I am too complacent.

second semester is treating me right
I like all my classes better, am making art I actually like/care about, and am experiencing the wonderful combination of both meeting a lot of interesting new people, and growing a lot closer to friends I made last semester. I feel so comfortable in my life right now.

double edged sword
Brutal honesty is both my best, and my worst trait. I’m entirely sincere in my appreciation for things, but if I hate something, I’ll let that be known too. Sometimes I forget that people don’t have as thick of a skin as I do.
