WANT.
Me and three other freshman are trying to pull together a show in the school owned art gallery spring semester. Though technically we started planning this in November, almost everyone originally involved has flaked out on us and we ended adding two of the group members the day before the proposal was due. Despite how rushed and last minute this was, I am really excited to work with these people, and I think if our proposal passes, we can pull off a really great show. We find out in a week, wish us luck.

I saw The Artist yesterday. It was a movie in it’s purest form: escapist entertainment. It was more of an ode to the movie industry than anything else. The plot wasn’t anything exceptional, and I’m not convinced I want it to take home best picture (but I have a few more on my list before I can judge), but nonetheless, it was funny and sweet and amusing.

This is up for Best Animated Short, and is probably the most adorable thing you will see all day.

- Billy Beane: You're doing it again.
- Casey Beane: What?
- Billy Beane: You're worrying about me.
- Casey Beane: You're in last place dad.
- Billy Beane: Do I look worried?
- Casey Beane: Yeah.
- Billy Beane: Cause, you're getting on an airplane. Those things crash all the time. Please stop worrying about your dad.
